Tooth colored Fillings

Silver and gold fillings used to be our only choices for restoring your damaged or decayed teeth. But advances in dental materials have created strong new tooth-colored fillings that help you look your best. If you decide you would like your tooth restored with a tooth-colored material, we can use either porcelain or composite resin, which is a plastic-like substance. We will carefully match the chosen material to your natural teeth, so the restoration will blend in well. Both porcelain and composite resin bond securely to your tooth, so the restorations are extremely strong and durable. Also, because they are bonded in, we can be more conservative when we prepare your tooth for the filling, so you retain more of your natural, healthy tooth structure.

Bonding

Bonding involves the artistic placement of a tooth-colored composite material to front teeth to enhance their color, shape or size. Bonding may be a good option if you have: space between your teeth, chipped your tooth or have darkened or discolored teeth.

Veneers

Veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are fabricated with the help of a dental laboratory. They generally cover the tops and front of your teeth. Veneers can be used as a permanent way to whiten teeth as well as to correct problems like chipped, misshaped, or worn teeth.

Lumineers®

Lumineers® are porcelain veneers that are extremely thin, but also very strong. With traditional veneers it is necessary to remove part of the tooth structure, but because Lumineers® are so thin they are placed over the teeth with no or very little drilling. The best thing about Lumineers® is that it is done without shots and is totally reversible. We can use Lumineers® to fix the same problems as we would with traditional veneers but with a totally pain free visit. Call us today and set up a consult to see if Lumineers® are right for you.
